I’m a technology leader who believes that reality is whatever we make of it. Originally from Goiânia, Brazil, I’ve built my career on a simple philosophy: “If it is not against the laws of physics, then is possible.”
My Approach to Technology Leadership
After 13+ years in software engineering and 6+ years in leadership roles, I’ve developed a leadership style focused on empowering teams with what they need to succeed. I thrive at the intersection of management and engineering—I lead from the front, but I’m not afraid to get in the trenches when needed.
My journey in technology began early—I was fascinated with electronics since I was 8 years old, initially just breaking things apart before learning how to put them back together. My software journey officially began in 2011 as a teacher in a small college in Goiânia, where I started learning PHP to automate grade tracking. This hobby quickly became my career path, leading me to complete my bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering at the Federal University of Goiás in 2016.
Beyond Technology
When I’m not solving complex technical problems, I’m usually found:
- Reading voraciously — from fantasy to leadership books like “Extreme Ownership” by Jocko Willink
- Practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — which I’ve been training for years (though the best defense is always to run!)
- Exploring new technologies — I’m constantly learning and experimenting with cutting-edge tools
